When I have received similar equipment I have used Google as well as eBay.
I have found close enough matches every time.
What your Business Office needs for their purposes is up to them. For our
(counting) purposes a reasonable estimate from a third party should be
sufficient.
If an item is so unique as to not have ever been sold before, then you may
need to talk to your capital asset management department to determine next
steps.
