Fundsvcs.org search is still not working (for me, at least), so I appeal to the list to help me out.
We do not have a policy covering contributed collections, but just received a large art collection, which prompted us to create one. I'd like to see examples from other institutions. If anyone has a contributed collections policy and is willing to share, I'd appreciate it.
In particular, I wonder whether Higher Education institutions tend to restrict the use of proceeds of sold collections to purchase other collections, or whether they can be allocated for financial aid or other mission-related use(s).
