Good Morning! I have a question for the Raiser's Edge users on the list. Our University IA office will be using Raiser's Edge and NXT in 2020 and our Finance office will be using Colleague so we're trying to figure out the best way to get our gifts into their system. Would anyone using both systems let me know if your IT office created that process for you using the basic .csv export from RE with tweaks to get it into GLIM) or if RE created an API process for you? We have a great IT office but we're trying to use our staff time as efficiently as possible and would like to hear what others have done and how well it works for you. I know you might not know all the tech details but any info to start with would be much appreciated. As always, thanks!

Hi Jane: We use RENXT and our Finance office is on Banner Advancement by Ellucian. We purchased PostOmatic <https://omaticsoftware.com/products/postomatic> from Omatic Software. It's really excellent. They customize how the feed should be and test it with you. Happy to chat offline if you want to know more. I used to work at Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA. When we did our conversion to RE in 2008, our Finance office was on Colleague. Our Blackbaud conversion consultant was fantastic and figured it all out for us. Let me know if you need a name at Agnes Scott and I'll try to find the proper person. Not sure of their current set-up. Teresa P. When I first arrived at Texas Woman's University we were in RE and the Finance Office was on Colleague. The IT department had built a file that would be created every time the GL process was run and it would be saved out on the drive where the system would then take the information and upload it into the Colleague system automatically. There were a couple of problems with this system, one the finance department could not "fix" anything in the file before it was uploaded which caused problems because the GL codes we were using in RE were wrong and everything was being posted to cash. We did not discover this until we went into FE and took a good look at the GL tab on the fund. The other problem was with pledges and pledge payments, because everything was being posted to cash it caused a problem with the pledges and pledge payments. I can get you in touch with the person who worked on the financial side of the house if you would like to speak with them.
