Caltech is seeking a Director of Finance and Facilities who will manage the Development and Institute Relations (DIR) budget, undertake financial and accounting activities to provide appropriate financial data to the senior administration including reports and analyses for planning purposes. Additionally, the Director manages the daily and annual needs required to run facilities occupied by DIR staff through support of campus partners and outside vendors. S/he supports the goals and priorities of the AVP of Advancement Services and partners with other DIR staff to ensure proactive and strategic deployment of programs and services related to facilities and finance.
We are also seeking an Assistant Director, Advancement Information Services who will work closely with Development Officers, the Finance Department, and other campus stakeholders to lead Caltech's efforts to create, seek approval for, and record donor gift agreements. S/he will also work to ensure the accurate recording of commitments into newly created funds. S/he will accomplish these goals through standard setting, establishing accountability mechanisms, reporting and forecasting, and providing advice and consultation to the Development department.
