Good morning, We have a Faculty member that receives pay from the University via check. He has signed the check over to us in Advancement. Is this considered a gift from the Faculty member? Yes. But many banks have stopped accepting endorsed checks so verify that yours will. If not the faculty member will need to deposit the check and issue you a personal check.
