Greetings,
Two additional positions are now open in Swarthmore College's Advancement
office, in addition to the one I sent around previously. The three open
positions are:
*Assistant Director of Individual Giving
<http://careers.swarthmore.edu/cw/en-us/job/494027/assistant-director-of-individual-giving>
(full time)*The Assistant Director of Individual Giving is responsible for
the identification, engagement, and solicitation of Swarthmore alumni,
parents, and friends having the capacity to make leadership-level annual
gifts to The Swarthmore Fund. Utilizing a donor-centric approach, they
will manage leadership gift prospects across a large geographic territory
and will travel regularly and extensively in order to discharge these
responsibilities. They will be responsible for building professional
relationships within College Advancement, in the campus community, and in
professional networks as appropriate.
*Analyst (Prospect Discovery and Development)
<http://careers.swarthmore.edu/cw/en-us/job/494018/analyst-prospect-discovery-and-development>
(part time)*The Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing,
synthesizing, and summarizing biographic, demographic, financial, and
behavioral information for College leadership to assist in the strategic
planning and effective operation of fundraising programs at Swarthmore
College. The analyst disseminates results through well-designed, visually
engaging, and well-written briefing documents, short narratives,
presentations, and other reports, as well as through maps, charts, and
graphs. The analyst also creates and manages all documents for the
College’s annual honorary degree nominations process, as directed by the
office of the chief of staff.
*Associate Director, Prospect Research
<http://careers.swarthmore.edu/cw/en-us/job/493999/associate-director-prospect-research>(full
time, sent around previously)*
The Associate Director, Prospect Research is primarily responsible for
meeting the need of College leadership—particularly the president of the
College and the vice president for Advancement—to be fully briefed on the
donors and donor prospects with whom they are working. The associate
director works with the office of the chief of staff to create briefs on
nominees and prospective nominees for the Board of Managers and works with
the chief investment officer and the director of Prospect Discovery and
Development to identify prospective nominees for the Investment Committee.
The associate director also partners with individual gift officers in
Advancement to guide the identification, engagement, and solicitation of
prospects.
Many thanks for your time, interest, and/or encouraging others to apply.
