Hi Turning to the collective wisdom of this group! A business was raising money for Autism Speaks and as part of that they held a 50/50 raffle which raised a total of $4,000. The raffle winner, winning $2,000 wants to donate his winnings back to Autism Speaks and is asking for a tax receipt. What's the best way to do this? Is the cleanest way the company gives him his winnings, and then he sends a check to Autism Speaks, and we receipt him as we would any other gift? Any other way this can be accomplished? Thanks in advance, Marla Berg Marla Berg Director of Fundraising Operations Autism Speaks 1 East 33rd Street, 4th Floor | New York, NY 10016 (646) 385-8514 | jmarla.berg@autismspeaks.org<mailto:jmarla.berg@autismspeaks.org> https://www.autismspeaks.org Connect with us: [cid:image001.jpg@01D4B6FB.EE2BA030]<https://www.facebook.com/autismspeaks/> [cid:image002.jpg@01D4B6FB.EE2BA030] <https://twitter.com/autismspeaks> [cid:image003.jpg@01D4B6FB.EE2BA030] <https://www.instagram.com/autismspeaks/> [cid:image004.jpg@01D4B6FB.EE2BA030] <https://www.linkedin.com/company/autism-speaks>
