Hello,
If your institution includes a "succession designee" (someone who the institution can talk to regarding a gift/ naming once the donor has passed) in your gift agreement, would you mind sharing your experience with the following?
* Do you ask for the designee's contact info in the gift agreement?
* Does the designee also sign the gift agreement?
* To verify that they know they are the designee and to show that they understand the terms of the gift agreement
What are some ways that you involve the designee in your institution & the gift while the donor is alive?
Thank you!
Sarah
