Has Counsel ruled that this student club is eligible to receive
tax-deductible donations? Note that many if not most student clubs/groups
are not (see the archives for details as well as the download site).
There's no issue with passing the funds on to Habitat for Humanity. The
point is whether your University can receipt and count the donations or
whether the group must serve more as a pass-through for Habitat who, in
turn, would handle the receipting.
