NC State’s Office of Donor Services is hiring for a Donor Services
Specialist position *(This is different than the previous position sent out
two weeks ago). *
This Donor Services Specialist’s main functions will include coordinating
and collaborating with college/units to draft, review and approve gift
agreements and assist in the donor-funded naming process. Donor Services is
seeking an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced and innovative
team environment. The ideal candidate will have superb writing skills and
will be capable of working with processes that require analytical skills
and problem-solving, being responsible for many simultaneous and
detail-oriented duties and working directly with frontline fund development
staff. This position will report to the Assistant Director of Donor
Services.
This position will be responsible for the following:

Collaborate with college/units and other campus partners, draft, review
and approve agreements, amendments and superseding gift
agreements/MOU/contracts.

Track and coordinate complex processes and create automated processes
for gift agreements and naming opportunities.

Assist in maintaining data, the queue and the database in relation to
gift agreements/MOU/contracts and naming opportunities.

Prepare documents for the naming committee, Chancellor and Board of
Trustees approval process.

Conduct in-depth historical research on the naming of room, spaces,
building, programs.

Develop resource materials, such as handouts, infographics, PowerPoints,
manuals, designing map overlays and graphs.

Research and document donor, gift agreement and endowment history.

Manage record management program for the office.
