We hold an annual fundraising gala that includes a silent auction. In trying to upgrade some of our auction items, we are looking at AmFund - the American Fundraising Foundation (www.amfund.org<http://www.amfund.org>). They are a nonprofit themselves that offer trips and experiences that are tailored to your organization, help provide marketing, etc. They also attend your event to deal with those who win their items.
Just wondering if anyone has worked with them, and what has your experience been? I am always a little wary when a third party must attend OUR event and deal with OUR donors. Then again, I may just be paranoid. From their website:
"For our nonprofit partners who qualify, one of our AmFund Development Directors will attend your event to encourage higher bidding, ensure that your donors questions are answered fully, and handle the closeout of our exclusive trips silent auction for you."
Thank you!
John
