I've been routinely checking the IRS website for updates to numerous
publication that we use. These usually always get posted in December or
January but I suspect the partial shutdown held things up. But they have
updated - for the first time in many years, Publication 970: Tax Benefits
of Education. This deals with taxable and nontaxable benefits including
scholarships/fellowships and the like.
Anyway, I have placed the newest version at the Download site and will
continue checking for all the others!
