Good Morning all,
Do any of you have procedures for vetting donors when a naming opportunity
is at hand. Is it as simple as detailed prospect/donor research or do we
perform something else that can somehow dig into their personal life
history. Just as an example, I don't know of any researcher that has ever
worked for me that has looked at high school, undergrad, or graduate
yearbooks. I would imagine that this is a bit much, but, you know... Touchy
subject, I know. I looked at some naming policies online but didn't see
anything about vetting steps. In these policies there are clauses for
revoking naming.
