Colleen,
We have that here at Syracuse. We keep the underwriting grants in a separate chartstring from regular donations from supporters, but they do go on as a charitable contribution (as long as they're not advertising).

Subject: [FUNDSVCS] On Campus Radio Station Underwriting
Good morning,
How many of you have on-campus public radio stations and are treating their underwriting payments as a charitable contribution? I have been researching this, and I am leaning towards that we can count them. I have searched the archives for past discussion and am not coming up with a clear yes or no that this is allowed.
Thanks.
Colleen
