I'm reposting this inquiry to see if it might garner some response now that we are further away from year end.
We are looking for how Raiser's Edge users are recording insurance premium payments, and possibly insurance surrenders, to show towards a project goal. For policies owned by the institution we are recording the donor premium amount gifts to a Fund specifically for insurance. So, they don't show up in totals for a specific project/scholarship/etc. With the surrenders on owned policies, we do not record a gift, but do put a placeholder $0 item on the donor record. The surrender is recorded to the project Fund, but it is $0, so also doesn't show up as part of the dollars raised for the project.
