Keven,
When I worked at a school and did a wealth screening, I found that all of the companies were fairly comparable. I recommend doing your homework. The companies will let you do a test batch as part of the sales process.
I created a batch of major donors that we knew well. I even threw my parents into the batch to see what the screenings found because I knew what they had.
I found that every service was a little different in terms of results. Some were better with this person, and some better with that. Because of that, I based my decision on two factors - who was best at finding hidden wealth, and who had the best salesperson (not very scientific, but there you go....)
For me, I thought that Blackbaud's screening did the best at hidden wealth.
I would caution you about one thing though. A lot of companies aren't real "wealth screenings" in my opinion. Several that I know of will run your list through their proprietary database of known wealth and let you know if they have matches. However, we were located in the middle of nowhere and probably didn't have a lot of matches in a database of wealthy individuals. I wanted a screening that would look at my data's assets that are publicly available and then let me compare my records to each other for prioritization.
Good luck!
Chris

Hi Keven,
I'd recommend DonorSearch all day, every day. Their scores are overall solid and their service has been fantastic, plus the prices are reasonable.
Happy weekend!

Subject: [FUNDSVCS] Wealth Screening & Modeling suggestions
Hi all and Happy New Year,
I'm looking to conduct a large volume wealth screening of our database and I'd love some suggestions and opinions on the companies you use for wealth screening and modeling. Currently, we use GG&A for batch screening and modeling in conjunction with Donorscape to help sort and parse the information. Overall we've been pretty happy with GG&A but it's been a good 8 years since we've screened or shopped for a service and I'd like to interview any companies recommended.
Thanks In advance.
