  • 1.  RMD or QCD for a ticket purchase

    Hi, 

    I wonder if an RMD can be used to purchase tickets to an event. The tickets for the event do have deductible and non-deductible portions.

    RMDs are taxed upon withdrawal and become the donor's liquid asset. They can do whatever they want with those funds.

    CD's must be spent on 100% charitable purposes.
