    Hi All,

    We received a check from a partnership. I am having a hard time figuring out what a Partnership is in comparison with DAF's, Foundations, etc. Who is the hard credit donor and are their any tax implications from donating from a partnership.

    A partnership is a business, such as an LLP. The donation is made in the name of that business entity. You may consider soft-crediting one of the partners if you know they were instrumental in making the gift happen.
