Hi John, Sounds very interesting and I would also benefit from seeing a coy f it. thanks! And great question, Anna. Meanwhile, we use both financial metrics (dollars raised, and comparing to size and capacity of portfolio). We also attempt to use non-financial metrics such as activity (number of calls made, meetings, total number of asks and gifts received etc). We have brand new MGOs who may not be closing as many gifts in their first year, so activity is important to us. And it all starts with making sure they log as much into our database as they can.

Subject: Metrics for MGO's
Last week, I and my colleagues at DePaul University gave a session at the Annual Midwest Meeting of the Minds conference (7/25-28 next year) titled: You Can't Manage What You Can't Measure. It's focus was on this very topic.
I will create a PDF of the PowerPoint when I get home and send you copy!

Can someone share their metrics they use for their MGO's? Including how they come about them. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
