  • 1.  Looking for Insights: Inexpensive Crowdfunding Platforms Options with Integration to Slate

    Posted 04-25-2025 01:54 PM

Hello everyone! We are considering a crowdfunding platform for our centennial campaign that is made up of mini campaigns. We currently use Slate as our CRM. I am curious as to what are you all using for crowdfunding? What is your experience like?

We are looking for something similar to GiveCampus. We were currently in talks with a platform called Classy but unfortunately they don't have a integration with Slate Advancement. We are a VERY small team so we have been looking at fundraising platforms to help cut down the time of building one out from scratch. We want this platform to provide our donors are more interactive way of giving with donation challenges, sharing across different social media platforms, giving meters so donors can see how impactful their gift can be.

Any recommendations or suggestions for something that is inexpensive, would be amazing!

You might be better served by using GiveCampus or Classy and building out the integration with Slate than building out a crowdfunding platform from scratch. It will certainly be a lot cheaper. Even without an integration, shipping in the data manually may still be feasible.

    Hi Isaac,

Thanks for the response! GiveCampus, unfortunately is WAY out of our budget. And Classy does not have a integration feature into Slate. I was hoping we would find options such as Classy that might have a more integration solutions or options that could work with us.

    Any other recommendations are appreciated!

    Best,

    Gizel
