    I think I may know the answer to this as I've asked in the past, but thinking of all the advances in technology, maybe someonehas 'automagic'd' this one.

    Our campus is in a Workday implementation (Student) and some colleagues have reached out to me to see if there is any 'service' or way to clean up international addresses per the strict formatting standards in Workday.

    If anyone has a script or a service they know of, I would be (and DePauw as well) extremely grateful.

    Can't wait to see everyone in New Orleans in a couple of weeks!!!!!

    I am in-between flights so I will be brief. I know there are many services out there. However, the one I run into most is from Melissa Data:


    Melissa's Global Address Verification and Validation service verifies addresses for 240+ countries and territories at the point of entry and in batch to ensure only valid billing and shipping addresses are captured and used in your systems.

    • Leverage a postal certified address engine using official government data including CASS (USPS), SERP (Canada Post), PAF (Royal Mail) and more
    • Correct & verify international addresses by adding missing components such as postal codes, locality, and more
    • Standardize/normalize addresses to meet local in-country formatting rules
    • Transliterate to and from native country languages and Latin
    • Add precise lat/long coordinates up to the rooftop (delivery point) level

    For our CRM – we're leveraging Smarty, which does both International and US autocomplete (as well as verification).
