    Hello -

Google recently changed their process for gifts, adding terms and conditions to their gifts under $100K. This is making it hard for us to accept these dollars through any avenue (Foundation, sponsored programs, or even just through the Bursar's office). We've asked Google to sign additional documentation, but haven't heard back. Any one have any experience with this? Any thoughts, suggestions, comments, etc. are welcome.

    Thank you,

@Arielle Johnson, can you give us some more information?  What are the changes to the terms and conditions that make these donations unacceptable?

I'm finding out that any term or condition that is related to IP (Background IP, Developed IP) is a hard line for us. These are not things I encountered at previous orgs, so its interesting to see it here. Working with my Corporate Relations people is the way I'm currently moving forward.

Oh, that definitely makes sense.  I would think that any gift that mentions anything about Intellectual Property would be a go no without question.  I would also think that this doesn't apply to all of their donations.
