    Hello!

    We are looking at Givzey as a potential solution for Pledge Reminders and Gift Agreement documentation management. Does anyone have experience with Givzey? Are you currently using their product? I'd love to hear from you!

    I like Givzey for smaller organizations that nevertheless do a lot of pledges and planned gifts; for orgs using Raiser's Edge or BBCRM; and for larger orgs that may find it difficult to access and leverage internal solutions because of coordination and capacity issues, but can more readily bolt on a service for their specific department.

    Arielle, can you share with us what CRM you are using and what needs it is currently not meeting in these two areas?

    Unless the CRM is an old legacy variety, you can usually issue pledge reminders directly from the CRM and attach them to a donor's record. There's no need for an intermediate step that requires exporting the CRM data into a third-party application, manipulating the data, exporting again to produce the reminders, and then importing those back into the CRM to attach to the donor's record. Most CRMs today have built-in pledge reminder functionality that requires only a bit of report development to create what's needed.

    What are your specific needs regarding gift agreement documentation management? Would you like workflow assistance with electronic signatures? Many CRMs today are designed to accommodate that through integration with Adobe Acrobat Sign (or similar) that you may already own. Or do you need a document management solution that many CRMs also offer?

    I like Givezy! However, I often hear about it at organizations that do not use CRMs with similar built-in functionality (maybe not quite as elegant as Givezy). In more robust CRM settings, exploring the CRM functionality (or module) might be less expensive without the cost of another system and necessary integrations.

    We use BBCRM. I think its the capacity and coordination that Isaac mentioned earlier. I would like to do a more segmented and sophisticated pledge reminder process. We were talking about building an internal solution, as well as something Zuri Group might offer. I'll take a look at what may already be in our system... 

    For gift agreements, its tracking where they are in approvals, queues, etc. Maybe even holding templates, procedures, etc.
