Is there a minimum fair market value that doesn't need to be reported on a tax receipt?  We have a third party group who is hosting a fundraiser.  At their fundraiser, if a donor makes a gift of $10, he/she will receive a small gift bag.  We are awaiting the FMV from the third party group, but in the interim, I was wondering if there was a situation where noting it on a tax receipt would not be required.

There are annual minimums that allow you to avoid issuing a QPQ receipt. But for that to apply (in 2025), the donor must contribute a minimum of $68. Below that donation level, the benefits cannot exceed 2% of the amount given (20 cents in the case of a $10 gift).
