Thanks for sharing! We used Financial Edge for a few years, and it was awful. Ideally, I would like to find a companion program to enhance the functionality we have with QuickBooks, however I'm not opposed to considering a new accounting system, if the benefit is great enough. I have heard good things about Aplos- any other recommendations?

Adavico and Fundriver both come to mind. In general I would say that Quickbooks is probably the software we recommend against most frequently for nonprofits who do substantial fund accounting, and that moving to something more appropriate may address some of the challenges you're facing.

Subject: Exploring Accounting Tools for Fund and Endowment Management
Hi all,
I'm exploring tools to enhance our accounting records management and reporting-particularly solutions that support endowment unitization and fund accounting reports, with bonus points for integration with QuickBooks. Anything you love? Despise?
I appreciate any experience you can share! Thanks!
