Hi Adriana,
We recently switched over to Emma. Here are some of the pros from my perspective: a) easy to get started as they provide many templates for you to customize so you don't have to start from zero, b) good onboarding, support and in-product help, c) different plan options that allow for flexibility, d) sufficient number and types of roles that provide intuitive workflows, e) calendaring feature that helps with overall institutional management of outbound emails, f) easy-to-use and understand group creation, list imports and segments, g) helpful post-email campaign summaries and analytics, h) and likely more. I hope this is helpful as you review/evaluate the other providers. You can also contact me if you have any specific questions that I may be able to assist with.
Best, Ryan

Good afternoon,
I have a quick question, what email platforms do you use to communicate with donors? Does anyone have good recommendations? Can you give me some pros and cons and if possible, could you share who sends the emails out? Is it Advancement Services or Communications/ or Stewardship or Annual Giving or IT?
We use BBIS and are looking for best practices in this area.
Thanks for any assistance!
