Hello,

I have seen some older posts regarding DAF widgets but nothing referring to DAF Pay (from Chariot). I am curious about 1) updated usage info in general, i.e., are these widgets on websites being used more often and if so, are they resulting in increased DAF giving and 2) others' experience with DAF Pay if using that one in particular.

We just added GiveChariot (Chariot through GiveCampus) but it doesn't go live until April 1st. The DAFpay button will be will be available on all forms just like any other payment method.

Very helpful, Therese, thank you. What would you say is the greatest value added you are anticipating (new DAF donors, current DAF donors feeling like it's easier to handle their DAF giving, data capture that aids in DAF processing, etc.)? We are still researching but we are seeing that there could be steps added to our current processing workflow. Further, we're not seeing a significant easing of the process for donors unless it's that they have many more clicks/steps when they log in directly to their DAF portal vs. the 3-clicks (I believe) that DAFPay/GiveChariot purports. Thank you again.

Our fundraiser's have high hopes for this since so many donors have DAFs. I see more unknown and anonymous donors. GiveCampus has not released the reporting yet so I do not know what information we will get. If we receive a gift through this we will be notified with a tracking ID on our GiveCampus/Chariot account. Grants initiated via DAFpay will arrrive via check or EFT directly from the DAF provider with a message with the tracking ID and note "Gift through DAFpay". Initially I am not expecting a lot of donations this way. These dollars are charged against our subscription. Larger gifts can go toward the GiveCampus major gift clause.
