    A check contribution was postmarked 2022, deposited in 2023, receipted and bounced. The donor told us to re-deposit the check. If it clears will the donation now be considered 2023 instead of 2022?

    Yes. It is a 2023 gift. But then you should never be backdating gifts anyway. See my paper on the topic of gift dates.
