Hi, We are in process of cleaning up and setting campaigns/funds in our Raisers Edge platform.
What is the best practice for naming campaigns/funds. Should we have the year listed in campaign or in fund.
We have some endowment funds for scholarships (with donor name say XYZ). So where should we have the year recorded - in campaign or in fund.
e.g. have campaign as FY25ENDOWMENT, FY26 ENDOWMENT etc. and same fund XYZ scholarship.
Or should we have one Endowment FUnd (ENDOW) and multiple funds for year - FY25XYZ, FY26XYZ etc.
