We have received a check from America's Charities and I had a few questions about them. After looking at their website it looks like they have collected this money from a person through a payroll deduction and they have issued a receipt to that person. The question I have is do we hard credit America's Charities and soft credit the person and just send a Thank You to the person?

In some ways, this looks like a DAF, but then it doesn't so I am not sure how to go about entering this information.

    Thanks for any help

They do not call themselves a DAF but they act like one. What is important to know is they are a 501c3 and they are the legal donor when you receive a gift from them. They have already receipted the individual.
