This was a good reminder to me and I sent out reminders to my team about it.
One of our fundraisers believes that these gift restrictions don't apply to giving circles, where if someone donates $1,000 they join the giving circle. John, is there anything to back that idea up?

No, they have not. And I promise to publish them as soon as I receive the notice from the IRS.
It is a bit early for the IRS to send out these updates. Last year it was on November 9. The year before was in mid-October but the previous year it was in early November.
You are good to be looking! But it might be another month or so. It also might be next week :-).
