Hi Christopher, I was surprised to see no responses to your question. We are beginning conversations about this missing key information now, as we have gaps in second parent addresses where there is a split family, and no longer have Position information, which has historically been very helpful in identifying potential donors. We see our options as partnering with a couple of external resources in hopes of gaining addresses and Linked-In urls for Position information where available, or reach out to the parents by email where we have missing addresses. There are obvious risks associated with that. There are really no other internal resources to provide us this information. Our data is in most cases, more up to date than other areas of the University due to our constant communications with them. How are you addressing this issue in your organization?
Thanks,
Rita Williams

With the changes to parent data on the Common App –
How is your advancement services team handling or addressing that change?
Are you working with campus partners and treating this as a data governance issue?
Are you executing an advancement-focused strategy?
